All are/were issued for 15 years service with claps for increments of 5 years service.
The 'Defence Force Service Medal', the 'Reserve Force Decoration' and the 'Reserve Force Medal' were instituted in 1982 but were all replaced by the 'Defence Long Service Medal' in 1998.
